the good and the bad

Rush/recruitment night one was tonight. It was good, interesting, and somewhat fun meeting everyone. Lots of awkward moments.


Mike is being a butt-head. He just seems to not care a lot of the time, with everything. He doesn't seem to have any interest in getting a better/real job, looking for an actual college to go to, doesn't seem like he wants to see or talk to me, etc. For example, today we had about 1 hour to talk/video in between him getting off work and me going to class, so we talked for about 10-15 min and then he was like, "I'm hungry and have errands to do, so I'm gonna go. I'll be back in about an hour."(an hour later I would just be starting class) Plus, he is now spending his free time remixing songs, exactly what I am going to school for. It almost feels as if he is trying to one up me and degrade what I am studying as something that anyone can do. I feel as if he can't respect that as my thing. Then he wants me to listen to all his remixes and stuff. BTW, he never bothered to ask about how rush went tonight and when I actually told him my schedule for the next couple days, asked me what it was 5 min later as if he never heard anything I said. I just feel like he is being kinda selfish and uncaring. idk, let me know if I'm seeming unreasonable or too harsh, this is just how it's coming off to me.


Luckily, I'm done with school for the week and have 4 days of somewhat relax/rush. Also, I hope lunch works out with Caitlin tomorrow.... I really want to hang out with her again and Dana already flaked out on me the other day.
